Role

Ooma, the leader in business solution, is hiring an Account Executive responsible for promoting our unmatched products and service within a dedicated market territory. This role is for someone who is able to build their book of business by hitting the pavement and making connections with small to mid-sized business owners. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced, results-driven, start-up culture with enthusiasm to prospect leads. If you are a go-getter who is looking for career mobility, this is a great opportunity. The territory for this role is Los Angeles and the successful candidate must live in the territory.


Responsibilities

  • Sell Ooma’s business products and solutions directly to small and mid-market companies
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities through prospecting
  • Follow-up with current opportunities and contact new leads via outbound calling and door knocking
  • Build a strong pipeline to ensure quota is consistently met
  • Demo the Ooma platform
  • Document activity in Salesforce


Requirements

  • 2+ years of value-based selling consistently delivering at and above quota
  • 1+ years proven ability to hunt and prospect for sales opportunities
  • B2B background ideal: Technology, Telecom, or other related industry experience a big plus
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed quota, manage lead, build a pipeline and accurately forecast
  • Demonstrated talent and hustle - ability to drive sales cycle with the decision maker
  • Track record of learning and adapting quickly
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude with the drive to get things done
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Reside in the Los Angeles area

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $41,250 - $63,250. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, specific location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
